Vertical Furniture

There’s furniture meant for inside a home and different furniture for outside the home.  The two should rarely be mixed. And by rarely, I mean never.

But let’s be honest, we’ve all seen it happen. For example, there are some areas where having a couch or an unplugged refrigerator on the front porch is absolutely acceptable.  I grew up in Texas and in some parts of town this was the norm.  In fact, I remember visiting a friend’s house as a kid and thought it was creative that her parents had an extended living room outside where they could drink beer.

So when I drove by this house in Salt Lake City I was confused by their vertical arrangement. This obviously doesn’t allow for sitting around and drinking beer on the front porch.

Then I looked closer.  Right past the chain link fence there is a FREE sign. So if you’re in the market for a used couch or a mattress I can point you in the right direction.  And although the couches are used, they only have wear and tear on one side.

I am moving into a new company owned loft, I hope I’m not to late to pick up the couch!
