A Craving Worth Licking
By Susan Mercedes. Filed in Life |Seriously. I love coconut. I’m not super proud of this obsession, but it’s the truth. And I’m an honest girl. I’ve even written about it here.
Back to my obsession…I adore the smell, the taste and the texture. The mere thought of coconut makes my mouth water.
Just to reiterate the strength of my craving…over this past weekend I met (for the first time) a new online friend who said, “Oh, yeah, you’re the one who loves coconut.”
I had been thinking about satisfying my craving all day long. My mouth wanted so badly to feel the nutty textured goodness on my tongue. A quick trip to the grocery store solved my issue.
These are divine. I’d lick them until my tongue was rubbed raw. I have fallen in love.
The end.

I guess the only thing that would make me want to rub my tongue raw would be love. Huh.

Kel: Of course, at this rate I’m going to have a raw tongue and a huge ass.

I have to try those! It says all-natural on the box, which means it’s healthy, right?

Laura: Totally healthy. That’s why my pants are tight. Totally healthy.

Hey coconut lover: I can’t remember if I already posted this, so I’m sorry if I did, but my girlfriend Terri makes a drink our friend Theresa calls suntan-in-a-glass: Diet coke, Coconut Malibu Rum, and lots of fresh squeezed lime. OMG.

Susan- So glad you liked them! They are a staple food at our house. I am considering collecting the sticks and making some type of shrine….

Kiley: I wanted to personally thank you for the introduction. They are delicious. However when I can’t fit through the doorway to my home, I may curse your name.
