Wino Wednesday: Drinking Helps Kid’s Creativity

This Wino Wednesday post was inspired by sparkling wine. Not one particular type. All bubblys. I love them. Remember this post?

After popping a bottle of bubbly you’re left with sparkling goodness in a bottle and a cork. I opened a bottle recently and left the cork on the kitchen counter. When I returned this is what I found….

Elle is genius.  She saw a useless cork and grabbed her craft supplies. Soon she’ll create an entire cork family. Isn’t there an Arts Festival coming up? And clearly this is my cue to keep drinking bubbly. I’m doing it for the kid. You should too.

    Kel: Aw thanks.

Are the corks in Belgian beer bottles smaller than the ones in wine bottles? If so, maybe she can use those for the children. Or the dog. Or the cat. Or the midget butler. I’m just so excited about this sculpture series!

Erin: Great idea. I’m going to have to start drinking Belgian beer. Thanks for encouraging the drinking. Clearly you appreciate kids being creative!

Cork family? Knowing your drinking habits, I am thinking Elle will be able to include extended family, inlaws, distant relatives, friends, contractors….most likely an entire city of corks in no time. =)

Suz: You know me so well. I may have to use our spare bedroom to house this new village of cork people.
