Precious Moments Involving a Small Rack
By Susan Mercedes. Filed in Travel, Weekend |As I’m driving home on Sunday getting ready to wind down my weekend, this is what I see along a busy road.
This was right after these two creatures bolted in front of my car as I’m speeding along at 50 miles per hour. The photo isn’t great, but hey…I was driving.
They were super cute. And one of them had an adorable (= small) rack.
Awww. This stuff tugs at my heart strings.

I love seeing deer unexpectedly! Except when they are walking out in front of my car, then it’s not so fun.

Summer: Deer don’t go with car hoods like wreaths go with car hoods at Christmastime. I know what you mean.

Ahh…..some of my best Utah moments involve deer. Sadly, the kids in San Diego don’t grow up seeing deer on their front porch. Reason to move back to Utah? NO. A life without deer is fine by me.

Kel: Try this. Substitute the word beer for deer. If you did, I’d bet you’d move back.

Once saw a 10-point buck on Foothill about midnight during a snowstorm. Pretty happy that rack didn’t make it into my car.

That is one thing I miss about living in NE Georgia. Lots of deer to see. I don’t ever recall seeing any in SLC, unless I was up the canyons.

Bunnie: Drive along Wasatch Boulevard to see tons of deer. Usually dead on the side of the road, but deer nonetheless.
