Pierced Nipples and Body Art

I was at an outdoor concert last night. Great music, fun friends, beautiful weather and the best people watching ever! Pictures below have nothing to do with pierced nipples or body art, but they are intended to illustrate the fun fucking time I’m having with Courtney, Michael, Jeremiah & Summer (in order of appearance from left to right). It was hot out. In hot weather people wear less clothing. Not like the half naked kid running around (that’s a story for another post), but there are zillons of sundresses, tank tops, short shorts to be seen.
Last nights’ crowd had me thinking…
Am I the only one who doesn’t have tattoos and/or piercings (aside from traditional earring holes)?
Tattoos are like artwork and can be beautiful. Clearly I have no issues altering my body as indicated in my frozen boob post. However, I just haven’t had the urge to put permanent ink on my body or pierce my nipples. Not yet anyway. I’ve invested a lot into these boobs. Putting holes in them is not an option. And tattoos. My ass is really the only place large enough to put art. And that thing stretches.
So I guess it is confirmed…I’ll be without tattoos and piercings.
Am I alone?

No tattoos never will. But I will say that as I get older, I am finding it more and more attractive on women. I used to not like them at all, now I think it can be pretty hot.
Piercings still do nothing for me. Don’t get it.

I wish I could explain the draw to piercings, but I can’t. I just like them. But, some are admittedly tacky. It takes a lot of balls to cover your face with piercings, that’s for sure. A little nose or lip stud is about all I find attractive.

Shadrach: Tattoos can be super sexy. Of course, there are those that are super ugly too. I better stick to less permanent options. Like wrapped canvas on my wall.

I am tatt free! I haven’t ever been able to think of something that I want on my body forever. I did have a nose ring but ditched that a few months ago, as I felt that I was too old for it.
But I miss it.

Kel: That is exactly why I don’t think a tattoo is for me. Aside from my kid’s name or my own name…nothing else is that long term.

No tattoos… but yes, I have piercings & want more.
It has always been a conundrum for me – I would never have cosmetic surgery. I feel I should be happy with my body the way it is… yet I really enjoy decorating it with metal objects.
I’ve thought about a tattoo, but I’m not sure I can think of something I want on my body for the rest of my life. Piercings aren’t permanent.
I find tattoos very attractive on other people though. Totally have respect for the art.

I’ve got two tattoos and I admit, I’m a cliche. They were tats I got when I was younger and now I’d like them to be gone. Unfortunately, I hear that’s costly. Luckily, they’re not in spots that are normally open for public view so I don’t have to be embarassed by them regularly since no one can see them.
As for piercings, I’ve had my belly button pierced for 16 years now. I got it done WAY before it became mainstream and cool, which therefore makes me way cooler than all the teeny boppers who have them now, right?

Amberly: Ah, the regretted tattoo. I think everyone who got them young says that. Belly piercing? Wow. That would force me to to sit ups all day long. I’m lazy. So I don’t intend to do that piercing. Ever.

I don’t have any tattoos, and I also don’t have any piercings. I think I might be alone on that one.
Most girls have their ears pierced at least, but it just doesn’t hold any fascination for me

I never really wanted a tattoo until later in life, when I went through some stuff. Then the idea of always having a reminder appealed to me a lot, so I got one. I’m not done … I’ll probably get a couple more. Like maybe some dolphins and stuff. You know, to match Jeremiah’s tramp stamp.
