It’s All Fun and Games Until Someone Gets Acid in Their Eye
By Susan Mercedes. Filed in Life |As I was about to wash my face, I noticed that my face cleanser had some sort of acid in it. I’m sure the acid helps reduce my fine lines, wrinkles and/or acne. But still…it’s acid.
Should I worry when it gets in my eye?
Risk: it only takes one face washing gone bad to get acid in my eye and lose my vision. Upside: I’ll have clear smooth skin.
Fuck. Do I need to wear eye goggles as protection? Because I’m sure as hell not changing products and being put a risk for more wrinkles or a nasty break out.
The danger we put ourselves in to be well groomed. Crazy.
What do you do that is “dangerous” to stay pretty/handsome?

Remember that there are acids or bases in everything except pure water.
If you had a PH meter, you could see how acid or base it is.
So check the warnings on the label. If it says “Do not get in eyes” then don’t do that.

George: You’re so practical. And it’s cute that you think I may have a PH meter.

I hear ya….I felt the same way when I was getting a facial and the lady told me she was now going to put blahblahblah acid on my face. All I heard was acid. She assured me it was “good” acid so I just left it at that. Apparently there are good and bad acids. As long as the bad ones stay away from my face, it’s all good.

Amberly: Think about Botox. I know it isn’t good, but I’m using it anyway! Ignorance is bliss with some things.
