Painting is Fun

It all started with them…

Yes, two kids. One is Elle. The other is her best friend. They are working on painting corks. They are crafty kids.

But they didn’t paint all the corks. And I kept providing the supplies. And by providing supplies, I mean drinking bubbly and saving the corks.

So it turned into this…

That’s me and my darling friend Courtney. Only difference between this picture and the kids above…we’re drinking bubbly while we’re painting.

Showing off our favorite cork character.

But we didn’t stop there. Nope. We created a village of cork characters.

Now I’m just worried that Elle will be furious that I finished this project. I’ll be sure to remind her that bubbly is my favorite beverage and I’ll provide her with more supplies.

    And blonde.

Joseph S.: Actually only 5 of the 16 are blonde. I like blonde for my girls. :)

That’s because the other two thirds are not human beings. ;)

Those are so cute! Who knew you were this crafty!

Becky: I’m super crafty. Hell, I was in a sorority. You should see me with a hot glue gun and puffy paints.

How adorable!!!! Just remind her that you won’t be quitting wine anytime soon.. so more corks to come soon! :)

@h0neyb: Don’t worry, that was the first thing I told her when she got mad. She’s fine now and actually loves them.

Ha! I love coming over to your house on Sundays. Who else provides a craft project and plenty of “creative juice”? That was so fun, and they really did turn out cute!!

courtney: I love when you come over. Any day of the week. I hate to run out of bubbly, but I’m glad we popped open the big one while you were here. Hell, crafts and bubbly are a great way to celebrate Sunday.
