Love Notes in My Lunch

This morning I packed a lunch for both Elle and myself.

Elle followed my (sporadic) tradition of including a note on a napkin. Today she did this while I wasn’t looking and stuffed it into my lunch bag.

She makes my heart smile. Every damn day. So full of unconditional love.

Here are my thoughts in return: Dear Elle, thanks for teaching me that you can never give enough love, hugs and kisses everyday to the loved ones in your life.

Please notice the SDSU lunch bag…that conveniently fits a six pack of beer inside. I know, I used it for something way less fun. Except that sugar free pudding. That stuff must have crack in it. And the berries are divine too. Off to get my fix.

zeghsy: lunch was super yummy that day. But the note made me smile. Way more than the strawberries and celery. And about as much as the pudding did. :)

Joseph S.: one day darling, you’ll totally understand. Especially once you have 6-7 Joseph Jrs. running around doing cute things. Promise. Heart melts every time.

Highly doubt my boys will be running around doing cute little things. More like proving who is the bigger man. Haha! At least that’s what they’ll be doing when they reach the same age as your wonderful daughter.

And their names will not be Joseph. None of ‘em.

Very sweet note. That lunch however leaves MUCH to be desired. Celery and strawberries? Who are you??

Suz: That lunch balances out the other days when I eat out. And by other days, I mean 4 of the 5 are at restaurants. With yummy (full of calories) food.
