Lunch at The Metropolitan in Salt Lake City is a great way to spend my two hour lunch break. Don’t misunderstand. The service is timely and great, I just choose to take that much time away from the office.

I usually try and get there before the downtown lunch rush since there is only street parking. Yesterday was no different. There was a spot right in front of the restaurant. I’d like to think it was due to the power of positive thinking…

…until I pulled in.

Yes, I did park there. And yes, a parking enforcement person drove by. And no, I didn’t get a ticket. I guess the power of positive thinking does work after all!
